THE SURFACE NAVY ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES THE SECOND MARITIME SECURITY FORUM

 This event will bring Navy, Coast Guard, Industry, Inter-agency and International stakeholders
 together to discuss the Cooperative Strategy for 21st century Seapower and how it applies to maritime security.

• Disruptions to maritime commerce have global implications.
   

• How homeland defense begins far from our shores, and involves a broad spectrum of participants, each with vital capability and capacity.
   

• How armed services and civilian agencies cooperate to share information and act upon that information.
   

• How industry contributes to global maritime domain awareness.
   

• How technology, operation, policy, information-sharing and operations must be coordinated to achieve maritime security.
